Things to Know
Plan Ahead- We encourage students and families to plan ahead. On campus housing is not guaranteed if the housing form and $125 housing deposit are not completed and paid/sent in before students are assigned and arrive to campus.  New students to Waldorf that are eligible for off-campus housing and who are not able to secure off-campus housing are recommended to live on campus for one semester in the fall.

Travel and Accommodations- It is important that students arrive on their scheduled day so that Waldorf is prepared for their arrival. Early arrivals will be expected to make arrangements at local lodging establishments as dorm rooms are being deep cleaned, painted or are occupied by summer guests and are unavailable.

Transportation to Campus- Students should arrange to fly into the Mason City Airport (Air Choice One) from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport as the price is reasonable and Mason City is only 35 minutes from campus. To request a ride from the following locations (72-hours advanced notice and purchased ride pass required): Mason City Municipal Airport, Jefferson Bus Terminal in Mason City, Iowa or the Jefferson bus stop at the Pilot Travel Center in Clear Lake, Iowa, please visit our transportation page. Transportation rates and request forms can also be found on the transportation webpage.

Move-In and Office Check-In Day- All new and returning students must complete a virtual check-in "registration" prior to arriving to campus. Students residing on campus will need to move into their assigned residence hall after checking in on their assigned arrival day.

Meal Plans- Meals will begin the evening of the scheduled office check-in and arrival day. Students arriving on a fly-in day or before this date must plan ahead as they are responsible for their own meals. Warrior Crossing (located in the Atrium) will be open (cash only) for grab-and-go breakfast and lunch for all students and families on each arrival day.

Summer Student Housing (Limited for current students only)
Breen Hall Double Room-$205 per month per student (includes all utilities, cable, internet & garbage). No meal plan available.

Summer Housing Dates (Returning students only)-May 13 to July 19
No new summer housing check-ins after June 1 due to the summer guest conference season and deep cleaning/maintenance in the residence halls to prep for all August arrivals.

$125 Housing Deposit-One Time Fee (Required only if not previously submitted)
Required for all residents in housing-due prior to move-in date. Contact the Business Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to make arrangements.

Summer Room Changes
Immediately after May graduation, campus students will stay in their spring room until their Breen summer room is cleaned and available. Summer residents in campus housing registered for fall 2019 housing will be transitioned from Breen Hall to their permanent room at the end of July.
