Audition Requirements:

• All students must have applied to and been accepted by Waldorf University before their audition.
• Students who are accepted to Waldorf during the fall semester, or those who cannot attend music audition day, are welcome to submit materials by sending a video link through the music scholarship portal.
• Vocal: Two contrasting solo pieces, such as a folksong or classical art song, performed with or without accompaniment. Memorization required.
• Instrumental: Two contrasting etudes or solo pieces, one lyrical and one technical, at the appropriate level for state solo contest.
• Piano: One solo piece, memorized, representing your technical and musical mastery. A second solo piece of contrasting style, memorization optional.

• Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Registration Open: 8 a.m.
• Auditions Conclude by 4 p.m.
• Registration closes January 20, 2024
