This event is a one of a kind All-State Vocal and Piano Clinic on the Waldorf University campus. The Clinic is designed as a follow-up event to the initial All-State Vocal Workshops held around the state each August following the announcement of the Iowa All-State Vocal Selections.
Unique to this clinic is its focus on piano accompaniment skills for those pianists that will be auditioning as an All-State Accompanist. Experience the music in real-time with a choir of voices. Vocalists alike will experience the music with an exceptional accompanist in rehearsal. The morning will explore the technical side of the music through sectionals and group work, tackling the barriers with sound strategies and allowing the students to build on the musicality that will be sure to set them apart on audition day.
