New Students

New students wishing to enroll at Waldorf University for the first time using Federal Student Aid (FSA) should complete the steps listed below at least four weeks prior to the last day of registration.

  1. Application: Submit the Waldorf Application for Admission. Please check the box indicating that you desire to use FSA as your payment method.
  2. Official Transcripts: If you need assistance with obtaining your official transcripts, complete the Transcript Request Service forms. We will secure all necessary transcripts by contacting your previously attended postsecondary institutions, ensuring  you receive maximum transfer credit. First-time college students do not need to use this service but must submit an official high school transcript. Once your application is processed and all official transcripts are received and evaluated, you will receive an Academic Evaluation Report by email. (All forms, transcripts and other required documents submitted to Waldorf will become the property of the university and will not be forwarded to another institution or returned to the student.)
  3. User ID/Password: Create User ID & Password online prior to applying for student aid. This serves as your electronic signature and may be used to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), make corrections to your Student Aid Report (SAR) and monitor federal loans that you receive.
  4. FAFSA: Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), making certain that you indicate the Waldorf’s school code (001895) on your form. If you have already completed a FAFSA, retrieve it and add the Waldorf school code.
  5. Student Aid Report: Monitor your email account for important notifications concerning your SAR. The Waldorf Office of Financial Aid will receive your FAFSA information and will contact you if necessary.
  6. Enrollment Agreement: Once you have completed all of the necessary steps and are ready to submit your file for review, you will be reminded to submit your Enrollment Agreement. Although your file will be reviewed and confirmed without this form being submitted, you will need to submit it prior to the end of the registration period. In the event you decide to cancel your enrollment, you may do so without penalty prior to the end of the “drop” period.

To estimate your eligibility for FSA, visit the FAFSA4caster site. Should you decide to apply for FSA, the information entered here will later transfer to your FASFA form. You will need tax information on hand to complete this process.

Note: Some financial aid applications may take longer to process than others as a result of factors beyond the control of Waldorf. Students who do not receive their aid award by the last day of registration may need to pay out-of-pocket and be reimbursed or delay registration for the following term.
