Waldorf University to host poet and translator Laura Cesarco Eglin on Wednesday, April 7. The event is a part of the Distinguished Visiting Writers Series sponsored by the Waldorf University English Department and Creative Writing Department. The reading is free and open to the public from 6-7 p.m. in the Odvin Hagen Recital Hall located at 106 S. Sixth St. Forest City, Iowa. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Waldorf University announces first trapshooting head coach, Tarron Glidden

Waldorf University is excited to announce Tarron Glidden as the first trapshooting coach for the Waldorf Warrior Trapshooting team. Glidden, a 2013 graduate of New Hampton, resides in Garner. The Warrior Trapshooting team is currently recruiting for their inaugural season in Fall 2021.

Waldorf Junior Jennet Hojanazarova Accepted to Asian Future Leaders Forum and Summer Internship for Breast Cancer Research at Harvard

Junior Biology student Jennet Hojanazarova was accepted to the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Conference, February 14-18, 2020 on Harvard campus and has also received a rare opportunity to participate in an internship with the Center for Cancer Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School.

Waldorf Community Artist Series to host performance by artists close to Martin Luther King, Jr.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., the Waldorf University Community Artist Series will host “Sing, Ebenezer!,” on Monday, Jan. 20, from 7-9 p.m. at the Boman Fine Arts Center, featuring professional performances from close family friends of the King family in Atlanta. The event is free and open to public of all ages.
