Student Orientation

Welcome to W.O.A.R. at Waldorf

Future Warriors it's time for W.O.A.R.; The Warrior Orientation and Registration event!

We're excited to have you on campus and want one of your first experiences to be entertaining and productive. This event is made to get you ready for your first semester by helping you register for classes, finalize your financial aid packages, discuss housing and meal plans and allow you some time to interact with fellow students, faculty and staff members.

What your day will include:
  • Registration for your first semester
  • Get your Warrior ID
  • Meet your student success coach
  • Discuss your housing options
  • Discuss your meal plan options
  • Enjoy a meal on campus

The last in person W.O.A.R. 2021 event is full. Please contact your admissions counselor to find out how you can attend virtually.

Tentative Schedule

Schedule listed below is tentative.

    8:30-9 a.m. – Check-in
    9:15 a.m. – Welcome from President Alsop
    9:25 a.m. – Advising presentation
    9:40-11:45 a.m. – Group Break-out Sessions:
    -Course Registration
    -Financial Aid & Business Office
    -Student Success Coaches & IT
    -Warrior Care Program/Student Success Coach
    -Student Life Presentation
    -Insurance/Mental & Physical Health
    11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. – PARENTS ONLY SESSION: Student & Administrator Panel
    11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. – STUDENTS ONLY SESSION: Student Panel
    12:15 p.m. – Closing remarks
    12:15 p.m. – Lunch (grab & go)

    Students will receive their school ID at the end of the student panel.
    Campus tours will be available after the event. They will be leaving from the Boman.
    The university bookstore is open for business after the event.

Helpful Links Per local and state health officials and CDC guidelines Waldorf University will follow recommendations in the following areas: 
  • Hand Washing, Sanitation, Face Coverings, Social Distancing
  • Everyone entering Waldorf University facilities will be required to observe safety practices: 
  1. Stay home if they have a fever, symptom of COVID, or just not feeling well. 
  2. Hand washing or use of hand sanitizer.
  3. Wear face coverings over the nose and mouth at all times in common areas and will be worn in locations where social distancing cannot be observed.
  4. Social distancing (six foot spacing) will be required at all times.
