Description

A study of approaches and skills needed for communication and leadership in the workplace. Explores communication methods for working with teams, cultures, social media, genders, and generations. Reviews communication and presentations skills with an emphasis on speaking and writing professionally.

Objectives

  1. Diagnose effective communication methods for leaders.
  2. Discuss how various factors impact communication.
  3. Explain how effective listening and communication enhances conflict management skills.
  4. Examine techniques used to better communicate during the interview process.
  5. Determine the dynamics leaders must consider for communicating while developing highly effective teams.
  6. Evaluate effective presentation strategies for written and oral presentations.
  7. Discuss various types of presentation mediums.
  8. Create informative presentations that persuade various audiences.
