Tuition Rates - Online Programs

Graduate & Undergraduate Tuition Rates*

Undergraduate: $295 per credit hour

Graduate: $375 per credit hour

*Active-duty military members using military tuition assistance in undergraduate courses are eligible to receive the DoD cap rate of $250 per credit hour for course at Waldorf. Most courses are 3 credit hours. The tuition rate for graduate course per credit hour is $285 for all active-duty military members using military tuition assistance.

Tuition Increase

Waldorf University will increase its online undergraduate and graduate tuition rates in 2019.

The new tuition rate will be $300 for undergraduate courses and $390 for graduate courses. The new tuition rate for online graduate students using military Tuition Assistance will be $300 per credit hour. The tuition rate for online undergraduate students using military Tuition Assistance will remain at the Department of Defense rate of $250 per credit hour.

This increase will take effect in term 1A20. Registration for this term opens on May 15, 2019 and has a start date of July 31, 2019.

Waldorf Book Grant and Loan-a-Book

At Waldorf, we understand earning your degree online can be challenging. To help, Waldorf provides all textbooks at no cost to Waldorf Online students through the Waldorf Book Grant and Loan-a-Book programs. Books may be in new or used condition and may be in print or electronic format.

Waldorf Book Grant

Students who utilize Waldorf Book Grant textbooks are not required to return them upon *successfully completing their course. Students who do not successfully complete their course will be responsible for the return of the course textbook(s). Should student be required to purchase the textbook, Waldorf University may charge the credit card listed on the enrollment agreement.

Loan-a-Book

Students who successfully complete their course will simply return their textbooks once the course is complete. Students who do not successfully complete a course will be responsible for the return or cost of the course textbook(s), depending upon condition of textbook when returned. Should student be required to purchase the textbook, Waldorf University may charge the credit card listed on the enrollment agreement.

Returned Textbooks

If textbooks are returned within 30 days of receiving a charge, the charge will be reversed. Charge are based on the textbook price listed on the Waldorf University website and $12 for shipping and handling. Students who return textbooks without the proper paperwork to identify themselves will not receive credit for the return. Students who do not return the text and do not pay the text charge, may not be allowed to enroll in future courses.

Re-enrollment

Should students re-enroll in the same course for the next consecutive term or enrollment period, previously provided books may be used for the course. If re-enrolled course is submitted within 30 days of the course failure or drop/withdrawal, the text charge will be reversed. Students should return the text if the course is not available in the next consecutive term.

*Successful course completion is defined as earning a passing grade or not dropping/withdrawing from the course in which the textbook was granted.

**Shipping is free to all 50 states, U.S. territories, APO boxes and Canada.

*All active duty service members receive a library and application fee waiver. Spouses and children of active- duty military will receive the application fee waiver and a 10 percent tuition discount.

Tuition and fees are payable in U.S. funds. Waldorf accepts checks, money orders, and credit cards. All fees are nonrefundable.
