A retired Homeland Security Agent, Richard is an Adjunct Professor under Waldorf University's Homeland Security Program where he teaches and develops curriculum. He previously worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Marshals Service and the U.S. Department of Defense. He was responsible for the instructing and training of new hires and probationary officers/agents on various law enforcement and homeland security subjects and tactics. He also runs an executive protection firm providing close personal protection for a variety of clients, including the Saudi Royal Family and other high profile dignitaries.

Professor Rempo also teaches undergraduate homeland security and criminal justice at Columbia Southern University and Ocean County College and graduate courses in homeland security at Wilmington University.
