Nicolas Determann completed his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. He received his BA from the University of Northern Iowa in Family Services with a women’s study minor and conflict resolution certificate. He is currently working for Waldorf University as Director of Mental Health Counseling Services. His clinical experience across a variety of settings including outpatient, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, nonprofits, and family intervention services. Nicolas is passionate about helping others, specifically positively influencing individual’s lives. Nicolas’ clinical approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and the provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Nicolas is invested in an approach emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health. He’s made it a profession to assist those in need, helping them to feel empowered to stand strong.
