Dr. Melanie Goss joined the Waldorf faculty in 2016. She teaches primarily first-year composition and enjoys helping emerging writers. Her research interests include children's and young adult literature, especially as they pertain to health and disability studies.
Outside of Waldorf, Dr. Goss fosters kittens for the Humane Society, works with at-risk youth in crisis shelter and volunteers with the Girl Scouts. She also enjoys arts and craft, and her next big ambition is to learn the musical saw.
