Dr. Marla Britton-Johnson received her B.A. in Vocal Performance and Theatre from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont., her M.A. in Dramatic Literature from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash. and her Ph.D. in Theatre History, Criticism, and Acting/Directing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
As faculty and technical director at Waldorf, she designed for several productions and directed The Tempest, Urinetown: The Musical, Antigone, Legally Blonde: The Musical, Othello, and American Idiot.
Her research interests are in Holocaust Drama and she has had the honor and privilege of having both her Master’s thesis and Doctoral dissertation be a part of the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Library in Israel. Her busy household includes her husband Ryan, children Kellan, Rowan and Fiona, and two dogs, Juno and Bear.
