Dr. Larry D. Hill is excited to join the Waldorf University on-line faculty. Dr. Hill and his wife attended Waldorf College a "few" decades ago. She has now been a professor at Waldorf for over two decades.
Dr. Larry Hill is a retired school superintendent who chose to retire early and move from administration back to the classroom. He has a real passion for teaching and learning. In 2005 Dr. HIll was chosen to represent Iowa as Superintendent of the Year and had a chance to travel across the nation interacting with all types of schools in all types of settings. His 38+ years of working with public and private education has given him a solid foundation in teaching and learning.
Dr. Hill's doctoral work at Drake University focused around the attributes which allowed school improvement teams to be successful. He has served as an adjunct over the years for Waldorf College, William Penn University, and Morningside College. He currently serves on Iowa's Board of Educational Examiners and on several regional boards and commissions.
Larry looks forward to the interaction with students and assisting learners in this amazing educational journey together.
