Dr. Berg takes a broad view when it comes to preparing students to take their place in the field of education. The world is full of exciting and meaningful places to make a difference! Class discussions include issues in education locally as well as nationally and abroad. Dr. Berg’s teaching experience spans many years and has included preschool, elementary and middle school. She invites students to consider stretching their awareness of multiple cultures and contexts and periodically leads student groups on trips to explore a range of educational environments. Past trips have included urban neighborhoods as well as travel to India.
Dr. Berg’s personal Christian faith runs deep and fires her passion for students’ well-being and development. You will find her enthusiastic participation at chapel and on mission trips.
