Keeping up-to-date in the world of finance and investing is his main area of academic interest. He is an active online investor and using the most current information available, he enjoys charting stocks and pension funds. As a co-owner of a business firm, he has made additional investments within the community which helps keep him current with trends in real estate, interest rates, and management operations.
The lessons learned by these examples are passed on to students, exposing them to what is happening in real-world financial situations.
Professor Robinson is very active in the Waldorf University Study Abroad program. With an emphasis on studying the economies of other countries; he has lived, worked and studied in various cultures around the world. By traveling, the economic climate of beautiful Dar es salaam, Tanzania where the cost of living is quite inexpensive can be compared and contrasted to the rich and historic city of Dubai, UAE. Additional studies have occurred in Rome, Italy; Sao Paulo, Brazil and Dublin, Ireland.
