M.Div. – Concordia Seminary, St. Louis Mo.
B.A. in English, minor in Theology – Concordia University, Irvine, Calif
Jared Eggebraaten grew up in Southern California and attended Concordia University, Irvine, where he studied English, theology and surfing. His interest in theology led him to pursue a vocation in Pastoral Ministry. He has found that the Pastoral Office offers a balance between academics and service to people. At seminary he thoroughly enjoyed studying history, religion and the biblical languages. Today he finds great satisfaction in using these disciplines in a practical way to help people from all walks of life.

In Eggebraaten's pastoral work he has found that writing, speaking, problem-solving and clear thinking are essential. He believes these assets are invaluable for a multiplicity of occupations, and contribute to one’s joy and effectiveness in life.

Eggebraaten has special interests in the Sixteenth Century Lutheran Reformation, religious Epistemology and the study and formation of Worldviews. His greatest interest lies in my bride and four children.
