Dr. Williams is an organizational leader by profession, and served in a variety of leadership positions with IBM from 1997-2016. Her experience includes retail and management consulting, business solutions marketing and delivery, enterprise content management and sales education. She has worked extensively with global virtual teams, and her doctoral research focused on virtual leader effectiveness. Prior to her retirement in March, 2020, she returned to her alma mater, the University of Missouri in St. Louis, to serve as Chief Information Officer.

Dr. Williams lives in rural Missouri and is an avid conservationist, along with her husband Steve. She has three Maine Coon cats and loves St. Louis baseball, gardening and painting in her spare time.
