James served as a Cryptologist in the United States Navy during Operation Desert Shield & Desert Storm. He also served as an Intelligence Analyst in the Georgia Army National Guard. Shaw has had the opportunity to work in many different fields and has worked as a Deputy Sheriff, Low-Voltage Contractor and Line Operator on a Bounty production line. He worked as the Environmental Health & Safety Manager for Georgia-Pacific and helped lead a team of Auditor's to review and inspect eleven facilities. He managed three facilities in different parts of the southeast and worked as the Environmental Health & Safety Manager for a private chemical contracting facility. He currently works as the Complex Safety Manager at Keystone Foods in Camilla, Ga.. He currently have 2000 employees and five supporting buildings.
James spends time at Dabbler Designs art studio specializing in calligraphy and glasswork and Volunteer Search & Rescue with the Civil Air Patrol (17 years). He enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He is currently working on safety culture books through his discussion groups and speaking opportunities. Strategic Organizational Safety.
