Dr. Ed Sherbert (Dr. Ed) is native to South Carolina, where he currently lives and works upstate – which he considers a very beautiful part of the country that has exploded over the past 20 years with new industry and business. In 2000, Dr. Ed decided to begin teaching full-time. He is currently an M.B.A./HR professor at the graduate school at North Greenville University. Previously, he lived and worked in New York City for two years where he co-founded an e-commerce company by the name of; it's a full-figured ladies clothing e-commerce site. Prior to that adventure, he spend 25 years moving around the southeast with several fortune 500 companies and small business in the human resources field (union & non-union) finally achieving the position of the Executive Vice President HR.

Dr. Ed finished his Doctorate in Business with an HR concentration at Nova Southeastern University after 7 years of hard work and a challenging dissertation. He also has an M.B.A. from Berry College and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Southern Polytechnic University. Additionally, he has passed the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and the SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional.)

Dr. Ed has a human resources consulting business where he provide HR support and develops employee education programs for small and large businesses. You can find more information at Dr. Ed is HRCI SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified, has spent five years on the exam committee (writing questions) for the HRCI certification exams and is presently a Subject Matter Expert for the (2012-2013) SHRM Learning System used to study for the exams and teach the exam prep courses (PHR/SPHR) and the (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) for SHRM online and ground-based.
