David Milen has worked for St. Margaret Health as a manager of safety security, Hammond Fire Department as a training officer for 180 personnel, and Columbia Southern University as a lead faculty member in Emergency Services Management. David has been featured in national and international publications. He founded NPO for 16 hospitals in Northwest Indiana and was former Executive Director of Northwest Indiana Patient Safety Coalition. He also held a chair position for the District I Bioterrorism Hospital Planning Committee.
David's hobbies include working out, playing the bagpipes and collecting Beatles memorabilia. He volunteers with the American Red Cross, is bi-lingual in Spanish, and is a school council member.
