Cathleen Bascom, D.Min.

Cathleen came to Waldorf in 2014 teaching Biblical Literature and World Religion. She has been an Episcopal minister for 26 years and was dean of the cathedral in Des Moines, Iowa for seven. Cathleen studies creative writing and the environment at Iowa State University alongside her teaching at Waldorf.

Cathleen is married to Waldorf Creative Writing professor Tim Bascom and they have two sons Conrad and Luke. She loves to garden and supports efforts in prairie preservation.
