Amy Segelbaum, M.A.

A native Chicagoan, Amy Segelbaum grew up in several city neighborhoods, and has always enjoyed exploring other big cities. She attended Indiana University where she studied English Literature and Journalism. Prior to obtaining her Master's Degree in English Literature, she worked in Encyclopedia publishing and Journalism. In addition to teaching higher education courses, she has also taught English to non-native speakers working toward obtaining U.S. citizenship.

She is an avid reader, who enjoys finding new books and attending author lectures or book tour events. After reading a novel, she believes that one of the best ways to process the book is to hear the author reflect on life and the writing process.
