Our vacancies include the following:
- English/Language Arts Teacher (two positions);
- English Language Learner Teacher (ESL / EL);
- Mathematics Teacher (Secondary);
- Science Teacher (Secondary) – flexible with endorsement areas: biology, physical science, chemistry, and others;
- Talented and Gifted (TAG) Teacher.

The Belmond-Klemme Community School District lies in the beautiful Iowa River Valley near the Interstate 35 and US Highway 20 corridors half-way between Ames and Mason City, and a short drive from either city.
Belmond-Klemme’s Jacobson Elementary School serves over 330 students in grades PK - 6 this year and is growing. Class size is low. The school building was built within the last ten years and features the very latest in aesthetics and classroom comfort.
Belmond-Klemme’s Secondary School serves over 350 students in grades 7 - 12 this year and is growing. Class size is low. The school is in a modern building currently undergoing extensive renovations to provide attractive aesthetics and the best in classroom comfort.
Belmond-Klemme is a progressive school district that offers an outstanding faculty, supportive parents, and a proud academic tradition. Jacobson Elementary is a one-to-one technology school, grades K - 6. The secondary is a one-to-one laptop school, grades 7 – 12. We seek teachers able to use technology to enhance student learning.
Our base salary is above the state average: approximately $39,000 (including TSS). Applicants may apply on TeachIowa.gov
