Hiring – 2019-2020 Spanish Teacher

North Iowa Community School District
has the following openings for the 2019-2020 school year.

  • 1.0 FTE 7-12 Spanish Teacher available 8/14/2019

Valid Iowa teaching license with proper endorsements is required
Applicants willing to obtain endorsement will be considered.

Minimum starting 2018-2019 salary at 1.0 FTE = $39,485 and includes full single health insurance, long term disability, IPERS, and $1500 tax sheltered annuity contribution by the district.

The North Iowa Community School District, located in north central Iowa, serves the communities of Buffalo Center, Lakota, Rake, Thompson, and surrounding communities.  This progressive district serves 480 students in a K-12 building in Buffalo Center, allowing for unique collaboration across grade levels.  North Iowa values building relationships with all stakeholders and meeting the educational, as well as social and emotional needs of all children, while preparing students for future success.  This technology rich school district has a 1:1 laptop program, Promethean interactive white boards, a new Makerspace area, and many other technology devices available to both students and staff.  Facilities have been updated and are well maintained, featuring the Little Bison Childcare facility and new Wellness Center, which is used by students, staff, and community members.
