Position Duties / Responsibilities
The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club has several full-time internships available each summer with full and part-time positions available for winter and spring. Interns with the Honkers not only learn what it takes to run a baseball club on a daily basis, but also get the opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
Come work with an established team and connect yourself with a growing league as you gain valuable experience while having a fun-filled season. Being a part of the Rochester Honkers also gives you the opportunity of working with a five-time Northwoods League Champion as well as living in one of the top ranked cities in the United States.
The Rochester Honkers provide you the opportunity to be involved in every possible aspect of the organization, which may include advertising sales, on-field promotions, concessions management, ticket sales, merchandising, media relations, video production, photography and more. If you really want to learn, all you have to do is ask and join in.
The Honkers season is a fun-filled 72 game schedule with 36 home games, one League All-Star Game, and possible playoff games. Summer Internships run approximately from mid-May until the third week of August. Winter and Spring Internships are flexible and can begin as early as January and ending in May. Full Sport Management Internships, for the complete experience, run January through August.
All interested candidates should send their cover letter, resume, and references to the Honkers office, with a follow up phone call to confirm receipt if you have not heard back in one week. You may send your information via regular mail to the Honkers Office at: 307 E Center Street, Rochester MN 55904, or email it to: firstname.lastname@example.org
