Beginning in 2018, student musicians entering grades 9-12 and recent high school graduates will be invited to spend a week at Waldorf University to study, explore and perform music under the direction and mentorship of the Department of Music faculty. The daily camp schedule includes ensemble rehearsals for wind band, choir, and orchestra, instrument-specific workshops, a wide variety of classes, and private lessons, offset by evening talent nights, concerts, and a variety of sports. The camp ends with a concert at the Hanson Fine Arts Center. Students live in residence halls on campus and eat their meals at the University cafeteria. A dedicated, caring group of college-age counselors supervise the halls and daily activities. The total camp fee is $450, which includes tuition, room, and board. Optional private lessons are available in voice, all instruments, and composition are available at a cost of $20/hour lesson.
