MA Health Care Management

The Masters of Art in Health Care Management is the perfect progression for those working in or interested in health care who aspire to make a difference in the health care management and administration fields. It is estimated that from 2016 to 2026, health care management careers will grow 20 percent, a much faster rate than other careers.* Setting yourself apart with a master’s degree in health care management can open the doors to the career and organization in which you aspire to work.

This degree program can leverage student’s real-world knowledge to help students better understand their current role in leadership or how to navigate the path to leadership in the health care arena. The courses in this degree program cover organizational culture, health care specific human resource management, financial management, marketing and more. Once complete, students will be equipped for a career in health care management, ready to make a difference in the lives of those they work with.

Master's Degree Requirements

  • Completion of 36-credit hour curriculum
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
  • Maximum of 18 transfer credits for courses numbered at the 5000-level or above may be applied to the elective credit requirements, provided that a minimum grade of B was earned for each transfer course.
