Learners may seek a certificate exclusively to advance their career-related knowledge and skills, and other learners may pursue a certificate as a stepping stone toward Waldorf’s online associate degree or bachelor’s degree programs. For students who wish to pursue a degree, the Health Care Management certificate is designed to coordinate with either the A.A. degree or the B.S. in Organizational Leadership at Waldorf University.
Waldorf’s Health Care Management certificate provides functional management knowledge and skills and an overview of issues and challenges specific to the field of health care delivery. Emphasis of instruction will be on developing the managerial knowledge and skills required to work in today’s regulated, complex health care field.
Estimated time to complete this certificate program is six to twelve months.
Certificate Program Requirements
- Completion of the certificate’s curriculum and credit requirements
- Students are allowed to transfer in a maximum of 3 credit hours to a certificate program
- Minimum grade of C for each course
