In times of uncertainty and unprecedented natural and man-made disasters, Waldorf’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Emergency Management is designed to prepare the student with a broad base of knowledge in the field of emergency management. The foundation for this degree program includes the Waldorf general education curriculum, numerous courses in the emergency management arena, as well as electives in the fields of Homeland Security, Fire Science Administration, and Business, among others. The program provides students with the general education, discipline-specific, and technical knowledge required to succeed in the diverse field of emergency management.
Fire Science Concentration
The Fire Science concentration is designed to complement the B.A. in Emergency Management by providing an opportunity to focus on fire-related aspects of emergency management.
