Waldorf’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration provides a comprehensive background in functional business areas, including accounting, management, and marketing. Business Administration majors have the option to specialize in management or human resource management by selecting a concentration in either of these focus areas. Students also have the option to choose an eclectic combination of professional electives as an alternative to the concentrations.
Human Resource Management Concentration
Waldorf’s Human Resource Management concentration is a competency-based program built upon the key competencies identified by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The concentration includes a foundational course in human resource management, as well as the flexibility for students to choose four additional courses, each reflecting a key competency identified by SHRM. The Human Resource Management concentration is designed for current or aspiring human resources professionals or other management professionals with a specific interest in the management of people and talent.
