A senior-level course that examines issues in communications. Topics will vary from year to year.

Objectives

  1. Use a process for practicing media literacy.
  2. Differentiate between ethics and morals.
  3. Practice various models of ethical decision making.
  4. Examine how professional communicators are impacted by their individual moral mindsets and ethical practices.
  5. Identify conflicting interests that point to bias in all forms of media communications.
  6. Practice media literacy when examining current media cases.
