PASTOR: Lord, we praise you for this glorious day, a new day of promise and opportunity, a new day for learning and exploration, a new day of light and life and hope.
ASSEMBLY: Lord, you make all things new!
PASTOR: Lord, this is a day in which we give thanks for Waldorf College, for the faithful service of our servant Luise V. Hanson and for the generations that have gone before us. For all who quest for knowledge and truth has brought us to this day, for all who will lead us forward into the new day of your future, we give you thanks.
ASSEMBLY: Lord, you make all things new!
PASTOR: Lord, with boldness and anticipation, we look forward to that future—not just any future, but the future you have promised, where peace and justice will reign and be proclaimed and lived. Lord, empower us by your spirit that we may bodily claim the new day of your future.
