Transformation

transformation

This sculpture is given to Waldorf College on behalf of the family and friends of Luise V. Hanson

Waldorf is a place of transformation for her students. They come from different times and places and together experience the transforming power of Waldorf’s mission to educate in the spirit of Jesus Christ, enabling her students to experience fulfillment through lives of service. While here, students begin to live the newness of discovery and to appreciate the power of critical thinking. They leave transformed, sent out to the world from this college, ready to serve, and to lead, and to articulate a powerful and meaningful vision of the future.

The sculpture represents the transformation many Waldorf students experience as they arrive ready to learn, and as they leave, ready to serve.
