North Iowa Area Community College LogoWaldorf University and North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) are pleased to offer a Joint Admission Program. Under this agreement, students may apply for and be admitted to NIACC with the ability to transfer to Waldorf University seamlessly.

Benefits of the Joint Admission Program:

  • NIACC and Waldorf University will provide academic advising regarding programs and degree requirements.
  • Waldorf University will register students on the NIACC campus in late spring of their sophomore year.
  • Students will receive a $1,000 scholarship upon their successful transfer to Waldorf University.
  • Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members receive a $2,000 scholarship.
  • Waldorf will offer one free course during the sophomore year at NIACC for students in the program.
  • While attending NIACC, a Waldorf ID card will be provided for participation in Waldorf University activities.

To participate in the Joint Admissions Program, students will be required to:

  • Complete the NIACC admissions process
  • Meet NIACC admission requirements
  • Complete the application for the Joint Admission Program
  • Allow the exchange of student academic information between NIACC and Waldorf University
  • Notify Waldorf University by March of their sophomore year if they plan to transfer to Waldorf University or withdraw from the Joint Admission Program
  • Complete the Waldorf University verification form to ensure compliance with admission requirements

Transfer to Waldorf will be contingent upon the completion of an associates degree at NIACC, with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Students must fulfill the degree requirements of each institution in order to receive an associates degree and a bachelor’s degree.
