Aspen Music Festival & School - Electrics/Scenic Intern
The Aspen Music Festival and School’s Aspen Opera Theater Center seeks an individual to assist in the construction and painting of scenery and the hang and focus of electrics for a three show summer opera season. Under the supervision of the Production Manager and other staff, this position supports the scenic and electrics departments based on the specific needs of each production. Candidates must have experience as a stage electrician as well as some paint and/or carpentry experience. Candidates who have a valid driver’s license for the summer of 2012 and the ability to drive a manual transmission preferred. A DMV background check will be conducted for candidate hired.
Compensation: stipend plus seasonal housing
Required residency dates in Aspen: June 13 - August 21, 2012
