The Winnebago Historical Society is seeking interns!

The Leibrand-Whiteis Historical Center, located at 336 North Clark Street in Forest City, Iowa, is seeking interns to help with
• archiving items using a computer program
• operating a scanner to scan documents and photographs
• creating historical displays

The intern will work with volunteers at the historical center. Volunteer staff will work with the student intern to create a schedule that is flexible around the student’s schedule.

It is possible that there will also be opportunities to work on projects with the Mansion Museum and/or Heritage Park.

The Winnebago Historical Society is housed in the Mansion Museum at 336 N. Clark St., and it oversees Heritage Park, a 91-acre park on the south edge of Forest City. Our mission is to educate children and adults through the Mansion Museum, reintroduce families to their past through the Leibrand-Whiteis Historical Center, and recreate the lives and livelihoods of our ancestors at Heritage Park of North Iowa.
