Housing Internship Program, Various Locations

The valuable and popular ACUHO-I Housing Internship Program is now open and accepting submissions from both potential interns and host institutions.

This program has proven to offer one of the most prestigious and competitive higher education internship opportunities available to undergraduate and graduate students; each year, it offers an unprecedented learning experience for both interns and host sites.

For the 2011-2012 year, 696 candidates applied to 505 openings at 284 member organizations. Internships posted spanned a variety of areas: residence life, facilities, conference services, family housing, food services, and more.

Applications for both interns and host sites will be accepted through January 10, 2013. There is no charge for ACUHO-I member institutions to host one or more interns. For interns, there is a small non-refundable application fee.

We encourage you to participate in this influential program. For host sites, interns provide a valuable contribution to a staff and system through their project work, interaction with staff and students, and through their insight and perspective. We encourage you to register, and to spread the word to students in your network about this valuable opportunity.
