Description: The Institute for Humane Studies is a unique organization that assists undergraduate and graduate students worldwide with an interest in individual liberty. Sharpen your journalism skills during a paid internship in print, broadcast, or investigative journalism during the fall, spring or summer. Choose from three internship tracks: Newspaper: Work in the newsroom of a daily newspaper. Publish twenty clips or more. Broadcast Journalism: Work with an experienced producer at a major media network or news production house. Investigative Journalism: Develop your research and analytical skills working under the guidance of a professional investigative journalist at a state-based public policy organization. A Comprehensive Program Eight-week internship with a $3,200 stipend and a travel allowance (interns must obtain their own room and board) Participation in our weeklong, summer workshop, Journalism & the Free Society, including travel assistance Mentoring from IHS program staff
