Required responsibilities and skills:
Understand our products, markets, customers, technologies, and competitive advantages.
Assist the Marketing department with administrative tasks such as data entry, mail merges, lead tracking, and direct mail fulfillment.
Assist in preparation of effective written communications including e-mails, letters, marketing materials, and proposals.
Create/edit Power Point presentations.
Perform marketing research for various projects.
Expand marketing vendor base by contracting with new distributors.
Attend local, regional, and national trade shows, conferences, and other events to publicize and promote products and services.
Education and experience:
This position requires a minimum of two years of college education (for full-time only) in marketing, communications, or graphic design. Background in education market is a plus. Graphic design experience, design knowledge are a plus.
Compensation and benefits:
Interns will be awarded a stipend of $500 per month. Internship benefits include: Class credit (when offered by the school), great business experience, invaluable office skills, flexible work schedule, and flexible time-off.
