The Iowa Cubs have internships available in several departments for the 2012 baseball season. Applicants should have a strong interest in gaining experience in the sports industry, be highly motivated and hard working, and have a willingness to learn and to work long hours and weekends during the summer months.
Internships are available in concessions, media relations, retail, sales and marketing, group ticket sales, stadium operations, ticket operations and video production. Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to the appropriate contact.
Assist store manager in restocking the store and merchandise sales. Help oversee the part-time staff and assist with closing and balancing the sales drawers. Merchandising the store, conducting inventory, and providing input on new merchandise. Contact Mike Gartner
Camera work and basic video graphics production for internet webcasts, closed-circuit television system in the ballpark, and video boards in the stadium. Four camera operators and four/five control room persons will work each game. Contact Blake Havard
