Five Great Cities of History and Art: Communications 379

4 Credits

The Communications Department leads a three-week trip to the great cities of Europe every two years.

  • Rome, Italy
  • Florence, Italy
  • Cinque Terre, Italy
  • Venice, Italy
  • Paris, France
  • London, England

The trip is lead by Communications Professor David Damm. This study abroad opportunity allows students to see the great museums and historic sites of Europe, while enjoying the diverse culture that each country has to offer.

"My suggestion to future travelers--embrace everything! This trip is about seeing and doing all that you can. Don't take naps! You'll catch up on sleep later! And do everything you can, from tasting the special dishes in every country to climbing every bell tower. You won't regret it." - Marisa Donnelly '15

"It is truly awe-inspiring walking through places like the Roman Forum or Pompeii and thinking about all of the people that have walked here before you. I walked in the same footsteps as Julius Caesar! I think that’s pretty cool." - Kevin Moore '15

The 2014 trip takes place from May 12-June 2. Click here to stay up-to-date with the adventure by viewing photos and blog entries on the Europe Trip Facebook page!
