Students have the opportunity during their B.A. program studies to travel overseas for 2 or 3 weeks, learning both the cultural and economic characteristics of the country. Past trips have included London, Ireland and Brazil.
Faculty and staff work with students to secure an internship that matches their interests in locations convenient for them. Recent students have found themselves at Winnebago Industries, Principal Financial and the State of Iowa.
Students take field trips to companies to gain valuable interaction and observation that take place with this type of on-site learning.
Assistance is offered to students at the Freshman level to assess personal interests, career options and choice of a major. Sophomores explore careers, internship placement and transfer options. Juniors and Seniors get assistance in resume writing, job interviewing, career choices and internships. An alumni network is maintained to provide resource people for career information.
