Education professor earns doctorate

Waldorf College
Associate Professor of Education Rebecca Hill was awarded her doctorate of education in exceptional student education from Northcentral University in Phoenix, Ariz., on June 8. Dr. Hill was one of 13 doctoral graduates selected to present a poster about her dissertation on June 7 during pre-commencement activities. She was also inducted into Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society and Golden Key International Honour Society and was presented with a golden medallion for achieving a 4.0 GPA in her doctoral studies.

Dr. Hill successfully defended her dissertation “An Examination of the Use of Assessment Data in Co-Teaching” last fall in the Waldorf atrium conference room.  Through the use of a Powerpoint presentation and conference calling, the defense is thought to be the first on the Waldorf College campus and was also witnessed by a small group of Waldorf faculty.
