A Waldorf College presentation of Anton Chekhov’s “The Three Sisters” will mark the directorial debut of a faculty member at 7:30 p.m. April 6-9 at the Smith Theatre on the school’s campus.
Waldorf College will host a free panel discussion, “Iowa’s Judiciary: Present and Future,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31 in the Atrium at the school.
Blame it on the bevy of TV crime dramas. Or voyeuristic reality shows.
Whatever the reason, there seems to be more people interested in what others are thinking—criminal, social or otherwise. Perhaps this interest in criminology and psychology may be linked to the online polls that show an increased interest in online bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminal justice administration.
Runners and their pets are invited to participate in the 3K3 Run/Walk/Wag at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Waldorf College.
Waldorf College, a four-year liberal arts school, will host an open house on Saturday, March 19 to give prospective students and their parents a chance to visit the campus and learn what the college has to offer.
The River City Barbershop Chorus, a group of men from north Iowa who love to sing and harmonize, will perform at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 21.
A Ventura (Iowa) High student is the winner of an inaugural high school writing contest sponsored by the Waldorf College literary journal “Crusader.” Angel Heller, a sophomore at Ventura High School, will have her poem “Hold Me” published in this year’s edition of the journal, which will be available in April from the Waldorf English Department.
