The  Iowa Music Teachers Association 2011 Conference came to Forest City last week to get more music for more kids at Waldorf College.


Waldorf College's biology lab is hissing and bustling as it welcomes new family members - a ball python, a snapping turtle, a brown anole lizard and two Australian sugar gliders.


Prospective students and their parents will have a chance to visit Waldorf's campus and learn what the four-year liberal arts school has to offer on Saturday, June 11.


Waldorf College will conduct an open house on Saturday, May 14 to give prospective students and their parents a chance to visit the campus and learn what the four-year liberal arts school has to offer.


Employees of Waldorf College were honored recently for their years of service and outstanding contributions to the liberal arts school and its students.


Approximately 800 people, including graduating students, their families and friends, are expected to attend Waldorf College 2011 Baccalaureate and Commencement scheduled on April 30.


The chair of the Waldorf College Board of Trustees announced today that Robert A. Alsop will be the 16th president of Waldorf College. The Rev. Buford Lipscomb made the announcement in the college’s Recital Hall at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 14.
