In honor of Valentine’s Day, the Waldorf College Theatre Department will host the ‘Sweetheart Banquet,’ on Saturday, February 11. This annual event combines a delicious banquet with a preview performance of the College’s spring musical, which this year is Stephen Schwartz’ “Pippin.”



From a heavy metal rock musician to a poet to a professor – acclaimed writer Debra Marquart will read from her work and share stories of her unusual experiences at the Waldorf College Distinguished Writers Series on Tuesday, January 31.


Waldorf College has named Kent Anderson as its new head football coach.


Waldorf history majors and faculty will help elementary school children for the History Day contest.


Waldorf College has announced its dean’s list for the 2011-12 fall semester. To receive the honor, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and complete a minimum class load of 12 credits.


Waldorf student Britney Ott presented her work on graphic story telling at the Streamlines conference in Dubuque, Iowa.


Waldorf College theatre professor Dr. Bob AuFrance has been named a finalist in the Mark David Cohen Playwriting Competition for his original play, Lost Socks, which was staged in September this year.
