FOREST CITY, Iowa | Waldorf’s College Speaker Series presents Amber Galloway-Gallego. She will hold a free hour long presentation that will give the audience a look into the world of deaf culture through the eyes of an American Sign Language (ASL) Concert Interpreter. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, October 14 at 7 p.m. in the Waldorf College Atrium, and is open to the public.

FOREST CITY, Iowa | Waldorf College’s Distinguished Visiting Writers Series welcome poet Lauren Alleyne on Monday, October 12. Alleyne will be reading her work at the Luise V. Hanson Library Lounge from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

FOREST CITY, Iowa | Waldorf College students to make Purple Heart Pledge, sponsored by Crisis Intervention Service. The Purple Hearts Campaign will take place on Wednesday, October 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Atrium.

FOREST CITY, Iowa | The first artist in the Arts Midwest World Fest will perform as part of the Waldorf Community Artist Series. Baladino, an Israeli folk band with a wonderful mix of Mediterranean music, was chosen as the first international act to perform in this series.

FOREST CITY, Iowa | The Waldorf College Artist Series (WCAS) will be hosting vocalist and actor Vigthor Zophaniasson on Monday, September 14 at 7 p.m. in the Odvin Hagen Recital Hall.

FOREST CITY, Iowa | The Waldorf Art Gallery will kick off their 2015-16 artist season with Osage-based printmaker Lori Biwer-Stewart. Biwer-Stewart’s work will be on display at the Waldorf Art Gallery from August 24-October 2, 2015. An artist reception will be held Friday, August 28, from 6-8 p.m., with an artist presentation at 7 p.m.
