Officials with Waldorf College unveiled a new image and name today before an audience of faculty, staff, alumni, and students. As of March 17, 2016, the school will officially be Waldorf University.

The popular Beethoven Trio is an ensemble-in-residence at the Park City Beethoven Festival. Waldorf College held their Homecoming 2015 festivities Friday, October 9 thru Sunday, October 11.  The weekend kicked off Friday evening in the Salveson Ballroom with the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet.  2015 inductees were: Bob Backlund ’70, Brian Grunzke ’77, Nicole Veldhouse Volk ’95 and Craig Volk ’95.

As you have heard in recent weeks, the state of South Carolina has been dealing with massive, historic flooding. Dr. Tommy Spotts joined the Waldorf online faculty in the Religion Department recently and is living in an area of South Carolina which has been deeply affected by the rising waters. Dr. Spotts has served as Executive Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Florence, South Carolina, and is currently planting another church in the area.
