Waldorf College Theatre Company to present The Complete History of America (Abridged)

Waldorf College
FOREST CITY, IOWA | The Waldorf Theatre Company will present the Reduced Shakespeare Company's production of The Complete History of America (Abridged) on July 14th and 15th at 7:00PM, July 17th at 7:30PM, and July 18th at 4:00PM in Smith Theatre.
The production covers 600 years of history in 6000 seconds, touching on everything from Washington to Watergate. According to the authors, it is a “90-minute roller coaster ride through the glorious quagmire that is American History.”
The Waldorf Theatre Company tackles such controversial questions as: Who really discovered America? Why did Abe Lincoln free the slaves? How many Democrats does it take to screw in a light bulb? History is normally written by the winners, and now it’s the Waldorf Theatre Company’s turn!
The production features Business major Emily Anderson, Musical Theatre & Playwriting major Philip Detrick, and Theatre Performance major Kelsey Sollish.  Incoming freshman Allie Baker is the Assistant Stage Manager and understudy, Theatre & Communications major Abbie Wells is the crew, and the production is directed, designed, and stage-managed by Theatre assistant professor Dr. David S. Sollish
Tickets are $6.00 general admission seating and can be reserved by contacting Dr. David S. Sollish at or (641) 585-8287. Proceeds go to the Waldorf Theatre Company's 2015 Spring Tour.
