FOREST CITY, Iowa | As part of the the Waldorf Community Artist Series, the Beethoven Festival Trio is set to perform a world-class performance in Forest City, Iowa. The popular Beethoven Trio is an ensemble-in-residence at the Park City Beethoven Festival. The Trio’s diverse concert programs are designed to please both the first-time concertgoer and seasoned chamber music fans. Based in Park City, Utah, this unique viola, clarinet and piano trio enjoys entertaining its listeners with its unique sound, impressive virtuoso playing and all-round commitment to beautiful music-making.

Art Gallery to Showcase Wayne Allison’s Unique Works

FOREST CITY, Iowa | The first artist in the Arts Midwest World Fest will perform as part of the Waldorf Community Artist Series. Baladino, an Israeli folk band with a wonderful mix of Mediterranean music, was chosen as the first international act to perform in this series. 

FOREST CITY, Iowa | The Waldorf College Artist Series (WCAS) will be hosting vocalist and actor Vigthor Zophaniasson on Monday, September 14 at 7 p.m. in the Odvin Hagen Recital Hall. 

FOREST CITY, Iowa | The Waldorf Art Gallery will kick off their 2015-16 artist season with Osage-based printmaker Lori Biwer-Stewart. Biwer-Stewart’s work will be on display at the Waldorf Art Gallery from August 24-October 2, 2015. An artist reception will be held Friday, August 28, from 6-8 p.m., with an artist presentation at 7 p.m. 

FOREST CITY, IOWA | Two Waldorf College music professors have teamed up to form the Atlantic Piano Duo.

FOREST CITY, IOWA | Waldorf College hired C. David Rutt, of Forest City, Iowa, as interim director of instrumental activities and assistant professor of music in April. Rutt recently retired from teaching after concluding a successful 35-year career directing instrumental music ensembles in Iowa, 24 of those as director of bands at Forest City High School (FCHS.)
